Do we know where these are being sold currently? Is it only at Epcot?
I saw both of these being sold at the Emporium on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom yesterday.
I’m going in May, and the first thing I want to do is buy a Magic Band, but I was thinking in going to the Downtown Disney…I think they sell Magic bands on Disney’s Pin Traders in the Marketplace, did you know if they sell any Magic Band special Edition? I want to have one before my first park day, thats why I want to go the same they I get to Orlando.
They sell these at downtown Disney in 2 places, at the pin traders and at the store across from the house of blues (forgot the name) and yes they have the limited edition bands, or at least they had them last week when I was there!
The name of that store is DisneyQuest Emporium. Thanks for the update on this! I tend to avoid Downtown Disney area currently because of the construction and traffic. I can’t wait for it to be completed and turn into Disney Springs.

I live in England and we are due to visit wdw in late august2015. We usually pick our Magic bands up on arrival.As there has been a lot of new Magic bands released(some ltd editions). I am interested in purchasing a special one for my wife and daughter. Where and how would you recommend me to do this. Any help or suggestions are most welcome. Many thanks Gary
You can buy them at the first major shop on the left on Main Street in Magic Kingdom when you walk in, called the Emplorium. They will be on the from left side of the store. They are MANY places in the Magic Kingdom. Try Big Top Souveirs and Frontier Trading Post in MK as for well. They can link them on the spot. Good luck and have fun!
I am waiting for an EPCOT one.
Is there any way to get these outside of the park? My kids do not know about our trip and I would love to use these as part of the surprise announcement.
Nope, eBay is really the only way.
Are they still selling these magic bands at Downtown Disney?
I am not sue, but most likely yes since they are just Open Edition.
