New design variations of existing Open Edition MagicBands have been discovered

As older Open Edition thicker MagicBands slowly get updated on the shelves to the version 2 MagicBands with a thinner design, some are getting new slightly updated graphics to go along with their rerelease. It’s strange that Disney would spend time on something as minor as this, but it’s the little details that matter in life sometimes. As you can see from most of the pictures below, more graphics now fill the top of the band (called Zone 2) to make a more even design and pattern. Also, the Jack Skellington band has an interesting change on the back. I’ll walk through each change below.

Belle: Left side is old, right side is new. Flowers now fills out Zone 2.

Tinker Bell: Left side is old, right side is new. Peddle design now fills out Zone 2.

Polka Dot Minnie: Left side is old, right side is new. Polka dots now are in Zone 2.

Jack Skellington: Left side is old, right side is new. Bats now fill out Zone 2 a bit better.

Also new with this specific band is a stylized official movie font/logo on the back. This is very cool and I hope they continue to do this for future bands.

Princesses: Left side is old, right side is new. The flowers have been changed to hearts. In fact, the entire pattern has been redesigned here.

Ariel: Left side is old, right side is new. A starfish and crab have been added, add the line drawing of the entire pattern has been thinned. For some reason this band is being discontinued and has been seen at outlets. Get it while you can!

Stitch: Left side is old, right side is new. Coming soon, Stitch has had the orange removed from his band.

Toy Story: Left side is old, right side is new. This is an odd one, because they actually took some clouds away from the design, not added anything to it.

Stormtrooper: Left side is old, right side is new. Instead of black dots, the inverted the pattern to instead show red dots.
