An open edition Cinderella MagicBand has been announced for sale this Spring 2015 at Walt Disney World by Disney Parks Blog. No exact release date has been announced at this time.

Is there any chance this will be sold online? I plan to buy magic bands before a trip this fall, but wanted to activate in advance.
I heard they are working towards bringing them online for purchase, but so far you can’t buy them online yet.
Will these be available to guests staying on-site as one the custom color options, or would we have to buy this separately?

Where is the best place to get the disney magic bands . We are going earlyin april and will need 6 different bands. We dont want the plain ones.Our first day is in magic kingdom. Thanks for your help.
Try Big Top Souvenirs as your first stop in Magic Kingdom. That would be the best place to pick up a lot of the graphic ones. After that you’ll need to go on a hunt!

Tough call. Probably not. Disney would have to sell over 100 per day to sell all 5000, and I think that is a high number to hit on the slow days.
any word on when the cinderella band will be arriving? it seems kinda late now that the movie has been out a week already..
The Cinderella band has nothing to do with the movie release. A Disney Cast Member high up in merchandising told me they were unrelated. It’s just a Spring 2015 band, so it could be out between today and June really. I will post on this website the day they are released, don’t worry. 🙂

I have a feeling that when Cinderella comes out there will be a few more new ones at that time as well. Just a gut feeling.
Which shops outside of the parks sell the graphic Magicbands? I asked a couple of employees in the World of Disney store and at the Portola Springs store – none were helpful.
Only a handful of shops in Downtown Disney (Pin Traders, maybe Disney Quest Emplorium, and the Mickey’s Gift Station at the Ticket & Transportation Center). That’s it. Otherwise you need to buy them at the parks.

No, I have been wondering this myself. Spring is officially over on June 21st so we have a little over a month left. Hopefully it’s not delayed.
