Typhoon Lagoon Cast Members gifted a special 30th Anniversary MagicBand

Cast Members of the Typhoon Lagoon water park in Walt Disney World were gifted a special MagicBand today to celebrate the park’s 30th anniversary. Blizzard Beach CM’s also were given the bands. These MagicBands will not be available for sale to the general public. There are supposedly around 600 of them. Here are some pictures of what it looks like. As you can see, the puck/icon is a teal color, and the band is blue. This most likely represents different colors of water.

This MagicBand is not available online from Disney, but you can buy it from eBay online by clicking this link which will take you right to the product listings (if any are available).

  1. Oof, I wish I could apologize on behalf of Typhoon Lagoon for a rushed looking, half-assed last minute “we forgot but not really” looking Magic Band. Though I do like the two tones. But yeah guys, way to completely forget that both Typhoon Lagoon AND Hollywood Studios opened pretty close to one another, 30 years ago. Hooooow do I get a job designing these things? I have so many ideas.

  2. We got one as cast at blizzard also. It was all water park cast members. I was told each park got 300 to distribute. We were all pretty excited when we found out it was a free magic band. Expected tshirts…or a lunchbox again. Lol.
