Today at Destination D in Walt Disney World, Disney announced that MagicBand+, with Disneyland exclusive designs, will be coming to Disneyland in early 2022. This will be the first time Disneyland will have MagicBands, which debuted at Walt Disney World almost a decade ago.
MagicBand+ at Disneyland will have some features that work differently than Walt Disney World, but Disney will make an announcement at a future date as to what those differences will be. It’s also unknown if only MagicBand+ will work at Disneyland, or if previous generations will also work, such as the current MagicBand 2 style. For now, here’s a preview pic of one of the first ever exclusive Disneyland MagicBand+ bands:
