Four new MagicBands released today and include a new solid color and Epcot LE band

Four new MagicBands were released today. The first is a new “cornflower blue” solid color (Disney’s official color name). The color is slightly different than the blue used on a Minnie Mouse band earlier this year, so it’s tough to know if this is a “new” color or not.

This MagicBand is not available directly from Disney but you can buy it from eBay online by clicking this link which will take you right to the product listings.

The second MagicBand is an Open Edition band featuring Chuuby from the Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway theme park ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The price is $24.99 and the barcode SKU is 40093064996. For some strange reason, this band was released in the older packaging style.

      • In my personal experience, none of the LE Magic Bands since Festival of the Arts 2019 have actually made lights and sounds after the first few weeks of their release. 🙁

My family and I have all the Festival of the Arts 2019/2020 and Flower and Garden Festival 2019 bands, and none of them have made lights or sounds past the first couple weeks of release, if that. 🙁

Bands prior to those still make lights and sounds just fine though. Strangest thing, and it sucks. 🙁

        • I’ve seen the Festival of Arts 2020 magic band work and show similar effects like the Festival of Arts 2019 magic band. The only difference is that the effect colors are purple and yellow to match the band. Although it does seem hit and miss with some of the newer ones. 🙁
