Today Disney released the new anticipated MagicBand Slap Bracelets at Walt Disney World, one day before they were set to appear online at shopDisney.com (UPDATE: they’ve now updated the online release date to December 2nd). WDWNT.com has the full story with pictures, but essentially for $24.99 (for an Open Edition band) you get a themed bracelet with an icon slider, which can be removed and used on your Apple Watch or other devices. There are also Limited Release bands for $29.99.
Apparently the slap bracelets have a nice secure fit, but may not be the best for people who have larger wrists. I’m also curious how easily these may come off of children’s wrists.
