New eco-friendly MagicBand box being used for resort guest stays

WDW News Today is reporting that new eco-friendly MagicBand boxes are being sent to resort guests who have a stay from at least 30 days out. The old box, which has been in use since 2013, came packaged inside an outer cardboard box, and the inner box itself had a lot of open-air space in it. This led to waste both for the amount of paper used and for the amount of bulk space it took up on delivery trucks. The new box is smaller, self-contained, and apparently made of recycled materials.
